IO Industries releases their newest model of 4KSDI-Mini camera, now with Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens mount!

Thanks to this popular mount, a variety of lens can be used with the 4KSDI-Mini (1″ global shutter sensor). While it is a passive MFT mount, multiple MFT lenses & adapters can be utilized including MFT-to-PL, EF, F, B4, and C-mount to name a few.

Additionally, the MFT mount is compatible with very-wide fisheye lenses. This opens up the possibility for VR 180°/360° as well as other wide-FOV applications. Of course, 4KSDI-Minis with C-mount are still available.

LYNX releases NEW yellobrik: OSW 1022 Optical Switch

The latest yellobrik by LYNX Technik is the OSW 1022 optical 2×2 switch. This yellobrik offers connection paths between two pairs of fiber optics.

Suitable for a variety of applications, the compact OSW 1022 is ideal for fiber line emergency switchover, route diversity, optical networking system protection as well as reconfiguration. Select passive optical paths via GPI control, local dip switches or PC/Mac. Additionally, select and monitor State 1 & State 2 optical connection paths with GPIs and GPOs.

Finally, the OSW 1022 comes with both latching and non-latching modes. This is useful in the event of a power failure. Either the optical switch maintains its current optical path (in latching mode) or the optical switch switches to its State 1 connection path (in non-latching mode).

To sum up, the OSW 1022  2×2 optical switch by LYNX Technik is a compact 1 slot yellobrik module with:

  • Two optical connection paths: State 1 & State 2
  • Latching & non-latching modes
  • 2 x GPI for path selections
  • 2 x GPO for connection path monitoring

BirdDog has recently rolled out multiple firmware updates for its FLEX 4K Family, 4K Family, Mini NDI, Studio NDI, PTZ Keyboard, and Eyes Series.

As part of the FLEX 4K Family, BirdDog is offering firmware updates on its FLEX 4K IN and FLEX 4K BACKPACK. The 4K Family Firmware updates are currently available on the 4K HDMI and the 4K 12G-SDI with the 4K QUAD updates coming soon.

Before updating Studio NDI, check the hardware revision number and carefully read the release notes.

Lastly, the Camera Firmware Eyes Series with updates include the P100, P200, P4K, P400, A200, and A300.
