On display on stand 10.A10 at IBC, this versatile & compact HDMI to SDI converter works in applications that require a fully synchronized SDI input from an external asynchronous HDMI source.

The flexible reference sync input accepts all analog video sync formats, including SD bi-level sync, black burst, color bars and tri-level sync. The sync input is also auto detecting and fully cross lock compatible.

Come see the new CQS 1462 yellobrik by LYNX Technik at IBC 2023! This bidirectional 2SI/SQD Quad Link to 12G SDI single link converter will be on display at stand 10.A10.

The CQS 1462 bridges 6G/12G SDI quad link 2SI/SQD devices and single link 1.5G/3G/6G/12G SDI devices. Applications include conversion between legacy quad 3G 4K transport systems into single link 12G SDI signals.

P Fiber II Optical Fiber Extender by LanSee

The P Fiber II PFP 3050 optical fiber extender by LanSee transmits all signals (video streams, Genlock signal path & Ethernet communication) without latency over one optical fiber cable.

Using a hybrid optical cable, the camera can be up to 200m away from the control room. However, if the camera is powered locally this distance increases to 10km.

The Camera Unit (camera side) is designed to fit the shape of Panasonic PTZ cameras, while the Base Unit (control room side) comes in a 19″ rackable chassis form-factor.

Lastly, P FIBER II supports 12G-SDI.

The 12G multiformat ultra light design HDR LCD Monitors by Craltech are coming later this year!

The 12G-Series features 2 x 12G/HD/SD-SDI and 2 x 3G SDI inputs. It also has 1 x 4K HDMI and 1 SFP Slot. In Quad Mode, display 4 x 3G SDI sources.

All monitors include HDR support and 3D LUT display calibration with high brightness versions available on particular models. They also have a rugged and lightweight aluminum design.

New Yellobrik Dual 12G SDI Fiber Transmitter

LYNX Technik announces its latest yellobrik solution: a 12Gbit Dual Channel SDI Fiber Transmitter with CWDM technology!

Both cost-effective and flexible, this new yellobrik model (OTT 1442) transmits uncompressed 12G SDI video signals over fiber as well as over long distances (up to 10 km). The CWDM technology combines multiple signal wavelengths into one fiber optic cable. This model covers all 18 CWDM wavelengths via nine pairs of wavelength choices.

What’s more, this yellobrik 12Gbit Fiber Transmitter pairs with LYNX’ fiber receivers and multiplexers/demultiplexers. This in turn creates a cost-effective CWDM fiber system for up to 18 signals on one fiber link. Alternatively, this yellobrik also acts as a standalone device. It can be individually mounted or used with the 19″ yellobrik rack trays, building a larger 12G transport solution.

The two input and outputs operate independently from one another. They are also fully automatic. Incoming signals (up to 12G SDI) are auto-detected before being transmitted, ensuring that different formats and standards are carried on each channel. In other words, this is truly a plug-and-play module.

New 8K SDI <> Fiber Converter by LYNX now available!

LYNX Technik has launched a new 8K SDI to Fiber and Fiber to 8K SDI converter. The converter is for its Series 5000 product line. This 8K SDI <>fiber converter module transports and converts up to 8K-SDI (12G, 6G, 3G, HD, SD) over optical fiber cable and vice-versa.

With both fiber and electrical interfaces, the DVD 5480 HO module can support video formats up to 8K SDI. The versatile and rugged cards are operable in four different modes, providing unparalleled flexibility.

Additionally, this Series 5000 card allows single-link 12G SDI signals to be converted to quad-link 3G-SDI and quad-link 3G-SDI to be converted to single-link 12G-SDI. The DVD 5480 HO module also allows users to convert UHD signals between 3G and single-link 12G-SDI.

The Series 5000 is a rack and card-based modular interface, configurable with multiple modules.
