The 4KSDI-Mini 4K/UHD/2K/HD camera by IO Industries is a state-of-the-art video camera useful for high-resolution high-speed capture with professional 10-bit SDI output.

Featuring 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI output formats, the Victorem 4KSDI-Mini offers either global or rolling shutter sensors.

IO Industries Introduces New 8KSDI Camera!

IO Industries announces its new 8KSDI camera, combining 8K (and UHDTV2) capture with live 10-bit SDI output. This compact, single-piece POV video camera offers superb image quality at an affordable price.

The 8KSDI camera is designed for professional live broadcast and video production environments as well as virtual reality content creation, visual effects, remote monitoring and wide-area surveillance. It provides a low latency connection over 12G/6G-SDI to other infrastructure. It also features a new global shutter CMOS image sensor, the XGS 45000, from ON Semiconductor. This sensor eliminates motion artifacts and flash bonding effects by combining high resolution with high image quality & uniformity. In applications where 8K resolution is not needed, an in-camera scaling mode enables 4K/UHD output at 60fps via single-link 12G/6G-SDI.

For factory-installed lens mounts, two choices are available: F-mount or Active EF-Mount. The F-mount is a passive, mechanical-only mount while the Active EF-mount electronically controls attached EF-mount lenses.

BirdDog P4K & P400 PTZ 4K Cameras Shipping Now!

The new 4K PTZ cameras – P4K and P400 – by BirdDog are now ready to ship!

The P4K 4K resolution, full bandwidth NDI camera delivers high quality images thanks to its 1″ Sony Exmor R CMOS back lit sensor and 14.4 million effective pixels. NDI is a variable bit rate, I-Frame codec reaching approximately 140Mbits at 1080p60 making it visually lossless. In addition to being full NDI, P4K offers two independent 6G SDI outputs and one HDMI 2.0 output. Controllable remotely, P4K can communicate directly to BirdDog Cloud without a computer running Cloud Core.

The P400 has many of the same features as the P4K. The main difference can be found in the image sensor. While P4K features a 1 inch back-illuminated Sony sensor, P400 offers a 4K Sony 1 / 2.5 inch CMOS 8.5MP backlit sensor.

Studio NDI : Focused on flexibility, Studio NDI functions as both an NDI Encoder and NDI Decoder. It’s capable of encoding resolutions up 1080p60 SDI and HDMI to NDI, plus decoding NDI resolutions up to 1080p60 to SDI or HDMI. The aluminum case houses BirdDog’s custom NDI silicon chip and features a built in cross converter, active loop outs, audio intercom system, dual NDI encoding, NDI tally system and PoE. Cloud : This NDI remote delivery and management software allows for distribution of NDI content to anywhere in the world. Utilizing SRT, Cloud offers 128/256 bit AES encryption to ensure secure streams over the public internet. Plus SRT video transport protocol ensures reliable streams, even over lossy networks. Cloud integrates with all BirdDog software and hardware solutions.

PTZ Keyboard : Through next generation NDI and IP technology, BirdDog’s PTZ Keyboard allows for universal control through mix and match protocols. A full featured PTZ keyboard, it supports NDI, NDIIHX, Visca over IP, RS422 & RS232 and offers Power over Ethernet. IO Industries 4KSDI Mini Pairs with CyanView RCP!

Highlighted at IBC 2019, the Victorem 4KSDI-Mini Global Shutter by IO Industries pairs well with the universal remote control panel, Cy-RCP, by CyanView.

Victorem 4KSDI Mini features a Sony Pregius IMX305 sensor as well as a variety of output modes which include 4K, UHD, 2K, 1080p, 1080i, up to 60fps.

The Cy-RCP remote is IP-based and rather than a web interface, includes physical buttons. The remote is supported by the Cy-CI0. A simple RJ45 connection enables control of cameras, lenses, etc. via RS232, RS422, RS485 and LANC serial protocols. PoE+ provides the necessary power.

IO Industries Offers New Volumetric Video Camera

First introduced at IBC 2019, the Volucam by IO Industries is a compact, multi-format, variable frame rate video camera specifically designed for synchronized multi-camera video recording applications. Featuring internal RAW video recording, Volucam incorporates key innovations creating an accelerated workflow, simplified studio configuration and a reduced support time.

Volucam allows data to be transferred directly to the rendering farm’s storage while recording is in progress, eliminating processing delay. The camera’s internal high-capacity storage buffers raw video while the 10GigE fiber optic port transfers buffered video to the rendering farm’s storage simultaneously via a 10GigE switch.

CMOS sensors allow options for high resolution video up to 26.2MP or high frame rate HD video recording at over 300fps.
