Wohler Technologies : audio and video monitoring
Wohler Technologies designs and manufactures audio and video monitors for broadcast and media environments. Their solutions provide precise signal monitoring directly from the rack or control room, without relying on an external computer.
iSeries – IP and SDI Monitors
The flagship range. Scalable monitors combining SDI inputs up to 12G/4K with IP connectivity, controlled via touchscreen and remotely accessible through the MAVRIC web interface. IP formats (Dante, Ravenna/AES67, ST 2110, MADI) are added via software licence or optional card, allowing each unit to be tailored to the existing infrastructure.
- iAM-12G-SDI – 2RU audio and video monitor. 2x 12G-SDI inputs, up to 16 audio channels, dual 4.3″ touchscreen, 30W speakers. Dolby D/DD+/E/Atmos optional.
- iVAM1-3 – Compact 1RU AV monitor, 3x 3G-SDI inputs, integrated video display, 16 audio channels. Upgradeable to 12G-SDI via optional card.
- iVAM2-12G – 1RU AV monitor, 2x 12G-SDI/4K inputs, integrated video display, 16 audio channels.
- iVAM2-MPEG – 2RU AV monitor dedicated to encoded MPEG streams, with TSoIP input on RJ45. Supports H.264, HEVC, MPEG1/2/3 and AAC in transport stream (UDP, SRT, RTMP) up to 30 Mbps, 10-bit, 4:2:2 up to UHD. PID table parsing and display. Complemented by 2x standard 12G-SDI inputs and 4 SFP cages for ST 2110, ST 2022-6 and fibre SDI options. 30W speakers, 16 audio channels, loudness included.
- iAM1-MIX8-12G – 1RU audio monitor with integrated mixer. 8 channels or 8 stereo pairs, individual rotary encoders per channel, 7″ touchscreen, 2x 12G-SDI inputs, XLR analogue I/O. Router integration (Evertz, Grass Valley, Tallyman) for automatic channel name display.
All iSeries models share: built-in speakers, headphone jack, USB port, Ethernet, preset management, APIs for third-party integration, and compatibility with the MAVRIC platform.
eSeries – Baseband Audio and AV Monitors
For traditional SDI environments where IP connectivity is not required. Shallow chassis depth, designed for OB vehicles and consoles.
Audio-only monitors
- eAMP1-S8-DA – 8-channel AES3 and analogue, 1RU, 7″ touchscreen, speakers, headphone output, balanced XLR outputs. Very shallow depth (140 mm). Dolby D/DD+/E, loudness and preset management optional.
- eAMP1-S8-2MDA – Same platform, with two independent stereo analogue outputs for simultaneous distribution to multiple destinations.
AV monitors
- eVAM1-1 – 1RU AV monitor, 16 channels, 2x 3G-SDI inputs, AES3 and analogue (XLR + RCA), 2.4″ touchscreen, built-in speakers, headphone output. Very shallow depth (120 mm). 8 presets, web interface for metering and remote configuration, APIs for third-party integration. Entry-level solution for baseband monitoring in HD SDI environments.
- eVAM1-1+ – Enhanced version of the eVAM1-1, with extended features.
vMON – Broadcast Video Monitors
Flat panel monitors for OB trucks, control rooms and 4K production. Available in two configurations.
Single screen (free standing)
Standalone monitors on stand or wall mount, available in 17″, 24″, 27″ and 32″, in 4K or 8K resolution depending on the model. All include: 12G/6G/3G-SDI + HDMI 2.0, quad split, waveform, vectorscope, histogram, 16 audio channels, HDR (PQ/HLG), 3D LUT, tally/IMD, built-in speakers. 3G-SDI versions are available for HD infrastructures (vMON-185-3G2, vMON-240-3G2).
Multi-screen
Units combining two screens in a single chassis, for control rooms requiring simultaneous monitoring of multiple sources. Available in 24″ (vMON-2440-4K), 32″ (vMON-3280-4K) and 42″ (vMON-4210-4K).
openGear – Monitoring on Card
RMoG-12G – openGear format monitoring card, installed in an existing openGear frame. 12G-SDI support, 16 audio channels, MAVRIC compatible.
MAVRIC – Remote Monitoring
Cloud-based monitoring and alerting platform, integrated with iSeries and openGear monitors. Centralised supervision of multiple units on the same network, preset management and remote configuration from any browser.
