Victorem 2KSDI-Mini

The 2KSDI-Mini is a 3G-SDI HDR camera with dual outputs and high quality Sony CMOS sensors. With its compact, one-piece rugged design, the camera is easily configurable via the on-screen menu. There is the ability to synchronize multiple cameras utilizing Tri-Level sync. Additional features include:

  • 2K, 1080p, 1080i and 720p up to 60 fps
  • 10-bit 4:2:2, 4:4:4, or RAW output
  • C-mount or (optional) Active EF-mount
Victorem 4KSDI-Mini

Victorem 4KSDI-Mini

The 4KSDI-Mini is a 12G-SDI HDR camera with 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI output formats. Featuring high-quality Sony CMOS sensors, the 4KSDI-Mini has a 4K/UHD output or a scaled 2K/HD output. The camera has a compact, one-piece rugged design that is easily configurable thanks to its on-screen menu. Additional features include:

  • Synchronization of multiple cameras via Tri-Level sync
  • 10-bit 4:2:2, 4:4:4, or RAW output
  • C-mount or (optional) Active EF-mount

Victorem 8KSDI

The 8KSDI combines 8K (and UHDTV2) capture with live 10-bit SDI output. It provides a low latency connection over 12G/6G-SDI to other infrastructure. It also features a new XGS 45000 global shutter CMOS image sensor. This sensor eliminates motion artifacts and flash bonding effects by combining high resolution with high image quality & uniformity.

In applications where 8K resolution is not needed, an in-camera scaling mode enables 4K/UHD output at 60fps via single-link 12G/6G-SDI. More specific features include:

  • 8K global shutter sensor, Super 35 format (26.2 x 13.8mm, 29.6mm diagonal)
  • DCI 8K & UHDTV2 formats or scaled DCI 4K & UHD formats
  • Standard frame rate (23.98-60.00) 10-bit 4:2:2 output
  • F-mount or Active EF-mount (factory-installed)

Volumetric Capture

What is volumetric capture?

Volumetric capture involves many precisely synchronized cameras surrounding and capturing a person’s performance from multiple angles. Through reconstruction software, this recorded video is then processed, resulting in a 3D avatar of the performer viewable freely from all angles.

Applications range from highest-quality, maximum realism post-processed volumetric capture (with Volucam Replay Cameras) to lowest-latency, high bandwidth real-time volumetric capture (with Victorem Streaming Cameras). These industrial-style cameras feature flexible video format adjustment such as 4:3 or 1:1 aspect ratios, making tiling cameras more efficient. Additionally, the global shutter image sensors eliminate motion distortion.

Multi-camera scalability

Volumetric capture often requires multiple cameras to ensure all angles of the subject are seen. The number of cameras is easily scalable without sacrificing performance and stability. Plus, the latest Volucam camera incorporates uncompressed RAW recording capabilities with high-capacity SSD storage in-camera.

Multi-camera Management Software

IO Industries’ StudioCap-VC software puts operators in control of an entire group of Volucam cameras at once while providing intelligible feedback on the camera array’s status. Operators can configure camera settings, start/stop recording, and select camera(s) to display low-latency live video from.

Multi-modal Reconstruction Workflows

Cameras are available with either color or monochrome type image sensors. Optical filters are also available, allowing imaging in the near-infrared wavelengths. These capture systems combined with specialized structured light projectors and novel processing workflows create realistic 3D reconstructions and free viewpoint video solutions.

Mobile Video Recording

As part of IO Industries’ simplified solutions, their multi-camera video recording systems are both compact and mobile. For remote-location capture, all that’s needed are the cameras, a network switch with a sufficient number of ports, and a single computer. The data from the recordings is stored directly to each camera’s internal SSD. Recordings can then be downloaded back at the main facility.

High-Resolution Cameras

Several models of high-resolution video cameras with fast CXP (CoaXPress) output are available to choose from. This standardized digital video protocol provides fast frame rates (60+ fps) of high-resolution video (4K+) while providing long video cable lengths, embedded synchronization and power delivery to the camera. USB3Vision is a similar video protocol adopted for the PC USB3 interface. A large range of PC capture cards are available.
