In control rooms, edit suites and post-production environments, switching between multiple computers and monitors creates constant friction. The Craltech 4Kcore addresses this by combining a 4K multiviewer with KVM switching in a compact rack unit: a single keyboard and mouse to control up to 16 sources, with less than one frame of latency, FPGA processing and no software to install.
The range comes in three versions to match different density and installation requirements:
- 4Kcore ONE (1RU) – 8 HDMI inputs, 1 4K output, 1 user. The ideal solution for a single edit workstation.
- 4Kcore DUO (2RU) – 16 HDMI inputs, 2 4K outputs, 4 simultaneous users. Designed for high-density IT environments.
- 4Kcore HYBRID (2RU) – 8 HDMI + 8 12G/3G-SDI inputs, 2 4K outputs, 4 users. The only KVM multiviewer to mix HDMI and SDI sources on the same interface, for hybrid broadcast and Pro AV environments.
All three models share the same FPGA engine, Stream Deck compatibility and a Smart ToolBar for real-time layout management. Configuration via USB or Ethernet with free control software included.
